About Us

Hi, I'm Stamperella, so named in honor of my great love for craft stamping, and I'm here to tell you about my wicked good stamp sisters:

Once upon a time in a far off land known as Poke-a-Tater, there lived two stamp sisters. Now the two sisters loved each other very much, but though they were both craftily creative, they were also quite different from one another.

Tami, the eldest, was wickedly wild about quilting. She loved fabrics and materials, and could often be found perusing the aisles of her favorite quilt and fabric shops, encouraging her sisters and friends to buy fabrics they knew they would never use, but which she hoped to inherit someday. Sometimes the fabrics would have a theme, and would be covered with such things as TEAPOTs or FLORAL HEARTs. Other times they would simply have little SQUIGGLEs or DOTS on them.

Tami could design and sew anything from an appliqued night shirt to a Log Cabin bed quilt and everything in between. Her sisters and friends loved getting her homemade gifts, but were often mystified when observing her at work. For there she would sit, chanting in her sing-song voice, oft times while sewing or working in her ever-popular scrap books, and using strange and unfathomable words like fat quarters, COLD HANDS and stitch in the ditch.

Amy, the youngest of the two, was a good and kind crafter who loved to paint. She would and could tole paint on just about anything and everything. Using her creative genius for good, many people who received gifts at her hand considered her a real angel. Her original designs were admired by many, including owners of publishing companies.

As the first of the stamp sisters to be published, Amy's angelic nature led her to help others along the arduous path of getting their original work on the public market. She made many friends, and her interests grew. She discovered craft stamping, and began collecting rubber stamps, including some original designs from fellow crafty friends.

Then one night, while attending a stamp party, the stamp sisters received an inspiration! Looking into each other's eyes they knew they were thinking in unison! If others could turn their original designs into rubber stamps for fun and profit, why couldn't they? "We could do this ourselves, dear sister," Tami whispered in Amy's ear. "OH WHAT FUN, we could have together. There is not a CLOUD in sight to ruin our plans!" And as Amy listened she began to SMILE! The more she thought about her sisters words the happier she became until she beheld a beautiful vision of SWIRLY HEARTS and a SUNFLOWER BOUQUET, all nestled together in a HEART PATCH under the silvery STAR LIGHT. Then she was skipping through an enchanted wood, dreaming of the night she had danced with the handsome prince. Twirling beneath a DAISY ARCH, and holding a BOUQUET in her shapely arms she daintily plucked the petals of a SMALL DAISY and said, "HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT, HE LOVES ME..." (oh sorry, that's a different story!)

Turning their dreams into reality was commonplace to the two stamp sisters, and they immediately set to work to do it once again. Suddenly, it was back to SCHOOL DAYS for Amy, as she strove to learn the tricks of the trade. And as AUTUMN GREETINGS turned into HAPPY HOLLY DAYS, and a SINGLE SNOWFLAKE fell from the heavens, the wicked good stamp sisters, who were becoming even closer than BEST FRIENDS, launched their very own stamp business, which was very successful and popular because of the splendid and fun stamps, that the two sisters designed. And of course, the witty commentary by their beautiful and delightful sister, Stamperella, didn't hurt either. (Boy does this job have great perks!)
